Volunteers and One-to-one
Mentoring
Calderdale
Youth Offending Team need ordinary people with ordinary experiences
of life who are prepared to give time and thought to helping a young
person who very much needs a friend.
Our young people need someone to be interested in them and spend time
talking and listening to them.
Our aim is to encourage young people to use their leisure time positively
and gain confidence and enjoyment from doing so. We hope to be able
to divert them away from offending.
