Visit the Zoo

Have you ever been forced to be pent inside,
Squashed within ordinary four walls,
Nowhere to hide?

Frustrated and pinned down,
Forced to adopt the conventional pace,
Shoved into an unnecessary, unworthy rat race.

They close the door,
No going back,
But I’m screaming and shouting about to crack.

The energy pulsates
And vibrates around,
I enlarge by large and earthquake the ground.

Loose and screaming,
Running wild
Wanting to remain a free spirit child.

False Convictions

I took the tree to be a person,
And the twig upon it to be a gun.

I felt a shadow behind me,
And had the urge to run.

Kettles brew and boil about me.
With the marching band nearby.

I hear the whispers quietly,
Swallowed by the midnight devil eye.

In Front or Behind Binoculars?
Time is wasted,
Time tick time,
People just wanting to rhyme a dime,
Well I’m not like that,
I’m thankfully released,
And I want that attitude to go KA-PEESH!

Wake up world,
Don’t go ME!
Look through the windows and try to see,
Life’s not good,
Life’s not bad,
It’s fantastic and got to be had!

Like it Or lump it,
Make the damn effort,
You’re blessed with this wish
Which could last forever.

Do you not realise how special you are?
Homeless or a multi-millionaire star?
Well anyway you’re considered by me,
Granted gratefully whatever you be.
