Young People working with the Youth
Offending Team have been experimenting with video cameras and computers
to tell their stories and confront the issues raised. We use the
term Digital Storytelling to describe this technique.
TVR's Story tells
of how a night out drinking led to violence and a court sentence.
Nothing to Do is
the introduction sequence of a digital story about bored young people
hanging around on street corners and getting into trouble. The project
was never finished; instead the filmmaker got involved with a local
comunity group and spent his time helping to refurbish a community
centre so that young people would have somewhere to go.
