LETTERS
of APOLOGY
Offenders cannot roll back the clock
and undo what they have done but they can demonstrate that they
understand the damage and hurt they have caused.
A genuine apology is often a first
step towards repairing some of that damage and the Youth Offending
Team encourages young people to show that they have accepted responsibility
for their actions.
All letters of apology are written
by the young people themselves. The Youth Offending Team can facilitate
the process but we do not tell the young people what to write.
This gallery is a display of real
letters written by real offenders to real victims, only the names
have been removed, for obvious reasons.
