The Calderdale Youth Offending Team
believes in working with the arts.
The "Small Voices" Exhibition is the
result of that belief. Using traditional and digital techniques,
young people are encouraged to tell their stories in their own
way. They might write a story or poem, create a picture or photograph,
or tell a digital story combining media to produce a short film.
All of the works displayed in this exhibition were created by
young people involved with the team. Young people who are striving
to improve themselves and repair some of the damage their behaviour
has caused.
Why do we
believe in using the Arts to work with young people?
