"Pieces from the Piece Hall" is the result of collaboration between the Calderdale Youth Offending Team and local artist, Maureen Walker, of the "Het Praatjes Huis" gallery. About 20 young people were involved in creating two huge banners which were hung in the Piece Hall over the Christmas period in 2004.
The project was so successful that Maureen's Art Workshops are now scheduled every week.

"Potty at the Piece Hall" is the second group project undertaken by Maureen's young people. The project involved painting plant pots and troughs with original designs. Once that was done flowers were planted in the troughs and used to decorate the Piece Hall.
